Description

Enjoy the savory flavors of the famous Arby’s Beef & Cheddar sandwich made fresh in your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Onion Sandwich Buns: 4
  • Deli Roast Beef: 500g, thinly sliced
  • Beef Broth: 1 cup
  • Cheddar Cheese: 200g, shredded
  • Whole Milk: 1 cup
  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • All-Purpose Flour: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika: 1/4 tsp
  • Salt: 1/4 tsp
  • Ketchup: 1/4 cup
  • Mayonnaise: 1/4 cup
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: 1 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1 tsp
  • Onion Powder: 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the onion buns under the broiler or in a skillet until golden.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, then whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk while whisking constantly until you have a smooth mixture.
  3. Stir in cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until melted and creamy.
  4. In a small skillet, heat the beef broth over low heat. Add the roast beef slices and warm gently until just heated through.
  5. Mix together ketchup, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and onion powder to create the red ranch sauce.
  6. Spread a spoonful of red ranch sauce on the bottom bun. Layer warm roast beef generously, and then drizzle with the creamy cheddar sauce.
  7. Add another layer of red ranch sauce on the top bun and close the sandwich.
  8. Serve hot with curly fries or chips on the side for the full Arby’s experience.

Notes

For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the creamy cheddar sauce. You can also substitute high-quality roast beef for a better flavor.
