Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Mix in the melted white chocolate and mashed raspberries until smooth.

Baking

  • Carefully divide the batter between the two prepared pans and smooth the tops.

Making the Raspberry Sauce

  • In a saucepan, combine fresh raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

Frosting
