Instructions
 

Preparation of Onion Rings

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  • Dip the onion rings into buttermilk, allowing them to soak in the tangy goodness.
  • Coat each ring in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring an even layer for that perfect crunch.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat, and fry the onion rings for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Cooking the Beef Patties

  • Season each patty generously with salt and pepper.
  • Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, cooking to your desired doneness.
  • Place one slice each of cheddar, American, and Swiss cheese on top of each patty before they are done cooking, allowing the cheese to melt.

Toasting the Buns
