Ingredients
  

For the cocktail

  • 2 oz Malibu rum
  • 1 oz coconut cream Can substitute with light coconut milk for fewer calories.
  • 6 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Blend into purée for more vibrant flavor.
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice Add more for thicker consistency.
  • 1 cup whipped cream For frosting.
  • 1 oz Malibu rum (for frosting)
  • to garnish fresh strawberries

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine the 2 oz of Malibu rum, 1 oz of coconut cream, 6 oz of fresh pineapple juice, 1 cup of fresh strawberries, and 1/2 cup of crushed ice. Blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Pour the strawberry Piña colada mixture into a chilled glass.

Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl, whip the whipped cream until soft peaks start to form.
  • Add 1 oz of Malibu rum to the whipped cream, then continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Spoon the Malibu frosting generously on top of the drink.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh strawberries and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing, boozy treat!

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Malibu rum with a coconut rum alternative. The drink is best enjoyed fresh but leftover mixture can be stored for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.
