Chili-Lime Dip Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Used for the dip.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes Spices things up further.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  • Transfer the mixture into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, diced red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, sliced chives, Dijon mustard, eggs, Tabasco sauce, lemon zest, and kosher salt to the bowl, and gently mix until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into six equal-sized patties.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, carefully place the shrimp patties in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and heated through.

Garnish and Serve

  • Top cooked patties with extra sliced chives and serve with chili-lime mayonnaise.
  • Add lemon wedges on the side for extra flavor.

Notes

To achieve the perfect texture, don't overprocess the shrimp. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes if patties don’t hold together well. Variations can include different herbs or add-ins.
