Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Toss the shrimp in paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper until beautifully coated.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until cooked through, then set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages until browned and crispy, then remove from heat.

Cooking

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar until melted into a creamy broth.
  • Add ramen noodles and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • Return the seared shrimp and browned sausages to the pot and warm through.

Serving

  • Ladle ramen into serving bowls, topping each with soft-boiled egg halves, jalapeño slices, and a sprinkle of green onions. Add chili oil if desired.

Notes
