For the Hoagies

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak Tender and juicy
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Rich and aromatic

  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, sliced For a burst of color and flavor
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Deep and savory

  • 4 hoagie rolls Soft and inviting
  • 4 slices provolone cheese Creamy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Steak

  • In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced beef steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Mix in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling the Hoagies

  • Split the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Lay down a slice of provolone cheese on each roll, then layer the cooked steak followed by the sautéed peppers and onions.

Finishing Touch

  • Slide the hoagies under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality meat and fresh vegetables for the best flavor. Sauté vegetables slowly for caramelization.
