Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assembly

  • Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up the triangles, tucking the edges in to seal the filling.
  • Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, allow cream cheese to soften, let the sausage brown well, and cool the crescents after baking. Avoid overfilling the crescents and ensure your oven is properly preheated.
