Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar until smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Add in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, and pink lemonade concentrate; stir in the vanilla extract and sweetened condensed milk if desired.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least four hours, or until firm.
  • Scoop and serve the Pink Lemonade Ice Cream.

Notes

For extra creaminess, consider using sweetened condensed milk. You can also experiment with flavor by adding fresh fruit or swirls of fruit preserves. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, freeze the mixture in a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes until creamy.
