Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it.
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions, and incorporate the drained crushed pineapple into the batter.
- Mix everything thoroughly, ensuring that the pineapple is evenly distributed. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Baking
- Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before moving on to the next steps.
Frosting Preparation
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping, mixing until well combined.
Assembly
