  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced Introduces a delightful crunch and freshness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds an irresistible aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Enhances the meaty goodness.
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce Adds umami depth.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adds a dash of heat.

  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded Adds a luxurious finish.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Serves as the perfect vessel.

Instructions

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Use a spoon to break it into smaller pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  • Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about five minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and beef broth. Let simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the liquid to reduce.
  • Stir in the shredded provolone cheese until melted into the mixture. Remove from heat.
  • Spoon portions of the cheesy beef mixture onto the hamburger buns and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the ground beef to keep it tender. Toast the hamburger buns before assembly to prevent sogginess.
