For the Chilli Honey Sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey To create the sauce for drizzling.
  • 1-2 tsp red chili flakes For spiciness.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice To enhance the sauce flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, ricotta cheese, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.

Assembly

  • Lay a sheet of filo pastry flat and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the cheese mixture at one end of the pastry sheet.
  • Carefully roll it up tightly, tucking in the edges to prevent spilling.
  • Seal the ends using the beaten egg.

Baking

  • Arrange the assembled rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden-brown.

Prepare Chilli Honey Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, red chili flakes, and lemon juice.
  • Heat over low flame for 2-3 minutes, stirring to blend the flavors.

  • Drizzle the warm chili honey over the baked rolls and serve immediately.
