Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Using 1 tablespoon of butter, generously grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and 1 can of water. Mix well.
  • Add the Minute Rice to the mixture and stir until combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the buttered pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Evenly sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup mix over the chicken breasts.
  • Cover the pan securely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours.

Notes

Marinate the chicken breasts in spices or lemon and herbs for added flavor. If you prefer brown rice, adjust cooking time. For creamier texture, add more water or chicken broth. Avoid peeking while it bakes!
