  • 1 can refrigerated croissant dough (8 rolls) Golden and flaky pastry.
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For gooey, melty goodness.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, chopped Offers a delicious, spicy kick.
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce For dipping, optional.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the croissant dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.
  • Sprinkle about a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese and a small amount of chopped pepperoni in the center of each triangle.
  • Gently roll up each croissant, starting from the wide end and moving toward the point. Tuck the filling securely inside as you roll. Place the shaped rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired for enhanced flavor.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and the edges are crispy.
  • Once they're perfect, let the croissant rolls cool for a minute, then serve them warm with a side of marinara sauce.

Notes

For best results, chill filled croissants before baking and consider alternative fillings such as grilled chicken or various cheeses.
