Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  • Press the cracker mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  • Bake the crust in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.

Filling

  • In a large bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, rose water, ground pistachios, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.

Baking

  • Bake the cheesecake for 45-50 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.

Serving

  • Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pistachios and garnish with rose petals if desired.

Notes

For best results, prepare the cheesecake the day before serving. Consider substituting heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version or using almond flour for a gluten-free crust.
