Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large skillet, add the ground beef along with the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until the vegetables have softened and the beef is thoroughly browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and salt and pepper to taste into the skillet with the meat mixture. Stir until the cream cheese has completely melted.

Baking

  • Take shredded Monterey Jack cheese and form it into 8 even circles on a parchment-lined large baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges turn brown and you see a lacelike appearance on the cheese.
  • Allow each cheese circle to cool for just a moment. While still pliable, spoon a generous layer of the filling onto each cheese circle and roll them up.
  • Let them cool completely to harden into a delightful wrap before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté onions and peppers until caramelized. You can add crushed garlic or your favorite spicy seasoning for an extra kick. Try using different cheeses like provolone or cheddar for a unique flavor profile.
