  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Optional for extra gooeyness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
  • In another bowl, crack the large eggs and beat them lightly. Mix in the vanilla extract, melted unsalted butter, and milk.
  • Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the hot fudge sauce and, if desired, the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow the Hot Fudge Brownie Bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before gently removing it and allowing it to cool fully on a wire rack.
  • Slice and serve warm, optionally drizzled with extra hot fudge or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For variations, consider using whole wheat flour, substituting some sugar with mashed bananas, or adding nuts and spices. Ensure your oven is at the correct temperature and be careful not to overmix the batter.
