Glazed Walnuts

Instructions
 

Prepare the Honey Walnut Sauce

  • Whisk together the mayonnaise, heavy cream, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl until well combined. Set aside.

Prepare the Shrimp

  • Peel and devein the shrimp.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.
  • In another bowl, blend the panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and white pepper.
  • Dip each shrimp into the egg white, then coat them with the dry mixture and set aside.

Fry the Shrimp

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pot to 350°F.
  • Carefully fry the shrimp in small batches for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Prepare Glazed Walnuts

  • In a saucepan, combine walnuts, brown sugar, and water over medium heat.
