Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces Tender and buttery salmon
  • 2 tablespoons butter Rich and velvety
  • 3 cloves minced garlic Aromatic kick
  • 1/4 cup honey Provides sweetness and depth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Adds a savory note
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Optional hint of warmth
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish
  • as needed lemon wedges For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by patting the salmon pieces dry with paper towels to achieve a perfect golden crust. Season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika if desired.

Making the Glaze

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until it sizzles.
  • Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup of honey and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, mixing well until they combine into a glossy glaze.
  • Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Cooking the Salmon

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding a drizzle of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Carefully add the seasoned salmon pieces in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Coating

  • Pour the honey butter garlic glaze over the cooked salmon bites and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Let it sizzle for an additional minute to warm the glaze.

Serving

  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Tip: To avoid overcooking, remove the salmon when it becomes opaque and flakes easily. Pat dry before cooking for better caramelization.
