Instructions
 

Pecan Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  • Stir in the brown sugar and let it dissolve to create a bubbling caramel blend.
  • Add the roasted pecans and let them cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.

Ice Cream Base Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Once the pecan mixture is cool, stir it into the cream mixture.

Churning

  • Pour the combined mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
  • Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.

Notes
