Ingredients
  

Seafood and Vegetables

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed frozen shrimp.
  • 1 pound dry-packed scallops Ensure they are well-thawed if frozen.
  • 2 pieces bell peppers, chopped Preferably red and yellow for color.
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced into thick rounds

Marinade and Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed is ideal.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning

Preparation

  • Rinse shrimp and scallops under cold water; pat dry.
  • Chop the bell peppers and slice the zucchini into thick rounds.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice.
  • Add the shrimp and scallops to the bowl; marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Assembly and Grilling

  • Thread shrimp, scallops, bell peppers, and zucchini onto soaked skewers, alternating colors.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
  • Grill skewers for 3-4 minutes per side until seafood is opaque and veggies are slightly charred.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.
