Lobster Tails Ingredients

  • 4 pieces lobster tails (fresh or frozen) Make sure to thaw thoroughly if using frozen.

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper

Garnishes

  • Fresh to taste chopped parsley For garnish
  • as needed lemon wedges For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prepare the lobster tails by cutting the top of each shell lengthwise and carefully pulling the lobster meat out. Rest it on top of the shell for a beautiful presentation.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat.
  • Bake the lobster tails for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Once done, drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, ensure that your lobster tails are thawed thoroughly if you’re using frozen ones. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Overcooking can lead to tough meat, so watch carefully.
