Ingredients

For the chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

For the ramen

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 pieces green onions, sliced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the bite-sized chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, and honey. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and paprika, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and raise the heat until it boils. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (3-5 minutes).
  • Reduce the heat to low, gently stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Ladle the ramen into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can customize the spice to your liking with more or less chili sauce. Adding vegetables like spinach or bok choy is encouraged. If seeking lighter variations, use coconut milk instead of heavy cream.
