Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well mixed before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk until just combined. Add food coloring to achieve desired pink hue.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the lined cupcake cups, filling each about two-thirds full.

Baking

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting

  • In a mixer, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat on high speed for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Add food coloring until you reach the perfect shade of pink.

Decoration
