  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Melt to create a smooth ganache.

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Provides additional sweetness.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Enhances overall flavors.

For the topping

  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts Adds crunch and nuttiness.
  • 2 tbsp melted chocolate For drizzling on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation of the crust

  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. Stir until well blended.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the base of a greased 9x9-inch square pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.

Making the filling

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the heavy cream using 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until you achieve a creamy consistency.

Assembly

  • Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the chilled graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until firm.
  • Once set, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top and drizzle with melted chocolate.

Serving

  • Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For variations, substitute crunchy peanut butter, add crushed pretzels to the crust, or use almond butter for a nut-free option. Can be prepped in advance and stored for up to a week in the fridge.
