Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar.
  • Add melted butter and stir until combined.
  • Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool.

Cheesecake Filling

  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  • Incorporate heavy cream until the batter is smooth.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set but still jiggly.
  • Turn off the oven but keep the cheesecake inside for cooling.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Finishing Touch

  • Before serving, sprinkle brown sugar on top and caramelize using a kitchen torch.

Notes

For best results, prepare the cheesecake a day in advance. Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing. A springform pan is recommended for easy removal.
