Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F, setting the stage for a beautifully golden bake.
  • In an oven-proof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Allow it to foam slightly.
  • Add the thinly sliced onion to the skillet. Sauté for about five minutes or until the edges start to brown.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for one more minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and simmer, stirring gently for a few minutes.
  • Gradually mix in the grated parmesan, creating a creamy sauce.
  • Toss in the sliced zucchini and yellow squash, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.

Notes
