  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped Adds color and crunch.
  • 8 oz creamy white chocolate Should be of high quality.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Enriches the truffles.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds depth to the flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar Optional for dusting.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped white chocolate and heavy cream.
  • Melt them together over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the steam doesn’t touch the bowl.
  • Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and blended.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract before folding in the chopped cranberries and pistachios.

Chilling

  • Transfer the mixture into the refrigerator and allow it to cool for about 30 minutes.

Rolling

  • Once cooled, scoop out small portions of the mixture using a spoon or melon baller.
  • Roll each portion into truffle-sized balls with your hands.
  • Optionally dust each truffle with powdered sugar for a sweet finish.

Storage

  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

Ensure your white chocolate is of high quality for the best flavor. Don’t rush the chilling process; it’s key to rolling the truffles smoothly. Feel free to try different nuts or dried fruits for variations.
