Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, dill pickle relish, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Carefully place the patties onto the grill or skillet and cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  • To assemble, place each cheesy patty on a toasted bun and layer with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and additional pickles.
  • Serve immediately for the best experience.

Notes
