Filling

  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate Richness and depth to the filling.
  • 1/2 cup strawberry purée Brings freshness and vibrant color.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Mix the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter in a bowl to create the crust. Press firmly into the bottom of a pan.
  • Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

Making the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Divide the filling into two bowls. Mix the melted dark chocolate into one bowl and the strawberry purée into the other.

Assembly and Baking

  • In the prepared crust, alternate spoonfuls of the chocolate and strawberry mixtures, and gently swirl together with a knife.
  • Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 40-45 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly.

Chilling and Serving

  • Allow cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least four hours before serving.
