Preparation of Cookie Dough Layer

  • Beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the milk and vanilla extract, ensuring they blend seamlessly.

Incorporate the Flour and Chocolate Chips

  • Gradually add the heat-treated flour, folding it in gently until integrated.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Shape and Freeze the Dough

  • Roll the cookie dough into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Freeze for at least 30 minutes to firm up the dough.

Prepare Brownie Batter

  • While the cookie dough is freezing, prepare the brownie batter according to the box instructions and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
