Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, cut into 1" cubes Juicy pieces that absorb flavors beautifully.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For a touch of richness.
  • 1 tsp paprika Adding a hint of smokiness.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For savory depth.
  • 1 tsp salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • 1 tsp black pepper Gives a little kick.

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or full-fat Greek yogurt) Creamy base for the sauce.
  • 3-4 tbsp Sriracha For the quintessential bang of heat.
  • 2 tbsp honey Balances the spice with sweetness.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar For a tangy zing.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Add umami flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves For an extra garlicky punch.
  • 1/2 tsp salt To season the sauce.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Final seasoning touch.

Garnishes & Skewers

  • Fresh parsley for garnishing Adding color and freshness.
  • Mini wood skewers soaked in water for 20-30 minutes To hold kebabs.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine cubed chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.

Cooking

  • Thread 3-4 pieces of seasoned chicken onto each soaked wooden skewer.
  • Place the kebabs in an air fryer and brush with about 1/3 cup of the Bang Bang sauce.
  • Set air fryer to 400°F and cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Serving

  • Serve the kebabs warm, garnished with chopped parsley and alongside reserved Bang Bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate chicken for an hour or more before cooking. Consider adding your favorite vegetables to the skewers. You can grill these kebabs on a barbecue or bake them in a conventional oven at 400°F if you don’t have an air fryer.
