Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the core to create a well for stuffing.

Assembly

  • Place the pear halves cut side up on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, ensuring it pools in the wells.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg evenly across the tops.
  • Stuff each pear half with crumbled feta and scatter the dried cranberries on top.
  • Drizzle honey generously over the stuffed pears.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until tender and caramelized.
  • Allow to cool slightly and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider topping the pears with chopped walnuts or pecans before baking. Adding a pinch of sea salt can enhance the taste. For a bit of kick, use cayenne or black pepper.
