Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper generously.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, shredded cheese, and Italian seasoning until smooth.

Cooking

  • Place seasoned chicken in the baking dish and spread the creamy mixture evenly over each breast.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked, achieving an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve hot, drizzled with any leftover sauce.

Notes

To avoid dry chicken, use a meat thermometer to check doneness. If using leftovers, allow to cool completely before freezing in airtight containers for up to three months.
