Description

This Moist Chocolate Chip Banana Bread combines ripe bananas and gooey chocolate chips, creating a comforting and nostalgic treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for about 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
