A quick and delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich with the unexpected zing of dill pickles.
Ingredients

- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
- 2 oz dill pickles, sliced
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Layer the cheese on top.
- Add the pickles, then cover with the second slice of bread (butter-side up).
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and grill the other side until equally golden.
- Slice diagonally and serve warm.
Notes
