Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, parsley, Parmesan cheese, along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the meatballs until browned, about 8 minutes.
- Transfer the meatballs to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Warm the marinara sauce in a separate saucepan, then toss the meatballs in the sauce before serving.
Notes
These meatballs freeze beautifully. Portion them into airtight containers for up to 3 months in the freezer. They are also great served with spaghetti or in sub sandwiches.
