- 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into half-moons
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop broccoli into bite-sized florets. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet, mixing well with kielbasa and aromatics. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm on plates or directly from the skillet.
Notes
This dish can easily be made ahead of time and reheated. For a healthier alternative, use turkey kielbasa or replace heavy cream with coconut cream.
