Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a bundt pan with butter.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, folding gently until just combined.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before gently removing the cake.
