Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken and vibrant broccoli in a creamy, cheesy sauce, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces and steam broccoli until bright green but still crisp.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the top. Drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Make sure to properly grease your baking dish to avoid sticking. You can add other vegetables to enhance nutrition.
