- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup brown sugar (for caramel)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan.
- In a bowl, melt butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder.
- Gently incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well. Gradually add flour until combined.
- Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes until slightly underbaked. Let it cool.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla and heavy cream until smooth, then spread over the cooled brownie base.
- For the caramel, heat brown sugar and heavy cream in a saucepan until bubbly and thickened.
- Drizzle the warm caramel over the cheesecake layer.
- Refrigerate until set and serve chilled.
Notes
Overbaking can ruin the gooey texture of the brownie layer. Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for best results.
