Description

A decadent dessert that combines rich chocolate brownies with creamy cheesecake, topped with luxurious caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar (for caramel)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, melt butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder.
  3. Gently incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well. Gradually add flour until combined.
  4. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes until slightly underbaked. Let it cool.
  5. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  6. Mix in the vanilla and heavy cream until smooth, then spread over the cooled brownie base.
  7. For the caramel, heat brown sugar and heavy cream in a saucepan until bubbly and thickened.
  8. Drizzle the warm caramel over the cheesecake layer.
  9. Refrigerate until set and serve chilled.

Notes

Overbaking can ruin the gooey texture of the brownie layer. Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for best results.
